back on the hook...

my gorgeous nana rug!
I admire & love my nana rug every single day, the boys know it's special too & fight to be the first to curl up with it, all snugly & warm, but I have decided it needs to be a little bigger, big enough for 2 to snuggle under, and It will be finished properly with a pretty trim.  I'm thinking, scallop, frill or bobble...perfect!

  2. Go the nanna rug! I think it's amaaazing that you can just pick it up and add on to it whenever you like. Isn't that so fabulous! x

  3. Oh it is looking nice. I love that charcoal colour you are working with. The wool looks such a lovely quality as well. Well done and keep hooking! It's looking very snuggly already.

  4. A Nana blanket for two sounds wonderful, as does the pretty border idea. I love doing the border, it's so satisfying. Maybe another granny square after this one so you can have one to yourself?

  6. Nana rugs are just that - nice and toasty. Still have enough winter style nights to enjoy that for at least a few more weeks/months!

  7. Way to go Mel! Maybe one day you'll decide it needs 3 to fit under it! ;o))) It looks really lovely with great colours. I've always admired and envied anyone who can sit and crochet or knit something like that for so long. I started a granny square rug so many years ago now I've forgotten when it was actually started, but you know I've still got all the squares that I managed to finish! Mmmm....maybe one day I might finish it!!! x
