My Creative Space...

I'm slowly teaching myself to crochet & only attempting the most simple of things to make.  I made a start on this neck warmer while we were all hanging out in our jammies earlier in the week (loving school holidays), and to my own great surprise, I have just about finished!

  1. This neck warmer is beautiful! I have one a friend sent me for Christmas and I love it so I'm sure you'll love yours just as much.

  10. That is a brilliant, useful first project. Much better than making endless granny squares like I did when learning!

  14. As everyone else has said, your neck warmer is really lovely! Well done. I see all the crocheting around the blogs, cos it's obviously making a big comeback amongst the younger set, and I wonder if I should get back into it......then I remember how bored I used to get doing it!! lol. I can do all the stitches, but just find it takes way too long for my patience, I suppose. :)

  15. Love the colour of that yarn. And if that's what you can do when you've just started crochet, the mind boggles at what you'll be up to in a few months!
