I'm slowly teaching myself to crochet & only attempting the most simple of things to make. I made a start on this neck warmer while we were all hanging out in our jammies earlier in the week (loving school holidays), and to my own great surprise, I have just about finished!

This neck warmer is beautiful! I have one a friend sent me for Christmas and I love it so I'm sure you'll love yours just as much.

Looks great, and so neat! I'm sure it will come in very handy through winter, and look fab on.
ReplyDeleteIt looks wonderful! I love the colour too. Good for you teaching yourself to crochet. I desperately want to crochet too. One day!
ReplyDeleteClever you! I'm beginning to knit again after many years and that is a challenge enough...but to teach yourself to crochet! Good for you! Hope all is well :)
ReplyDeleteIts awesome!! love it!!
ReplyDeleteIts fantastic! Lovely colour choice and that button is a beautiful addition. Great Job!
ReplyDeleteI love it, great colour.
ReplyDeleteThat is a brilliant, useful first project. Much better than making endless granny squares like I did when learning!
ReplyDeleteThat is gorgeous! If I could muster that up I'd be very, very proud! xo m.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful neck warmer, what is going to be your next crochet project?
ReplyDeleteYour neck warmer and crochet is stunning. Love your work, you're so clever! Hope you have a Happy Easter ;)
ReplyDeleteAs everyone else has said, your neck warmer is really lovely! Well done. I see all the crocheting around the blogs, cos it's obviously making a big comeback amongst the younger set, and I wonder if I should get back into it......then I remember how bored I used to get doing it!! lol. I can do all the stitches, but just find it takes way too long for my patience, I suppose. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the colour of that yarn. And if that's what you can do when you've just started crochet, the mind boggles at what you'll be up to in a few months!
ReplyDeleteWow - that's really clever - I can't barely do a granny square!
ReplyDeleteGreat and just in time for the cold setting in. Did you use a pattern?
