my creative space..

I'm on a jar jacket mission, making lovely tealight jars for the shop, also lots & lots for a special occasion looming..
it seems I've been unraveling more than I've been finishing this week.  I think it's all got to do with that 'suffocating' feeling I mentioned last week.  Too many projects on the go & seeing them sitting in limbo, waiting for me to decide what to do with them next has got the better of me, so I've pulled them all & tidied up just a bit..
While cleaning up my yarn stash I found this gorgeous deep red.  It's the softest wool, the label says 100% lambs wool but gosh it feels almost like silk, so deluxe.  I've made a snugly neckwarmer out of it for someone special to be packaged & posted just in time for their birthday..

  1. Those votive jars are gorgeous Mel, they'll create such a lovely ambience when lit and look rather pretty lined up like that too.

  6. The jars covers are beautiful, they're what caught my eye and brought me here. But the raspberry neck warmer is my favourite - it is absolutely gorgeous, lovely, lovely, lovely!

  7. NICE! I'm loving the richness of that red - lucky recipient! :) They will feel treasured I'm sure. And now you have me thinking. I have a whole bunch of little jars that I was going to fill with soy wax - and just never got around to... I might have to have a re-think! Thanks Mel!
