A weekend away, just the hubby & I. We kicked off with a visit to our lovely friend Nat's quaint little cafe
Beatrix in Nth Melbourne. This is an absolute
MUST do if you are in town, and how lucky for you if you're a local! You won't be able to resist just about
everything on offer, all made with such love..you can actually feel it, the love, really!
Hubby and I started with one of Beatrix famous brioche donuts, this little treat only available on Saturday & TO.DIE.FOR! The best coffee ever & then we had the Breggie roll, that was a little piece of heaven in itself.

and a growing arrangement of vintage beaters hanging above the counter. You can bring one along to contribute if you like..

we also strolled the city streets, hubby sporting his new wristwarmers (zoolander style), and just wandered though arcades & laneways til our hearts content. I just love Melbourne, I do miss it. Though being so far away does make having these weekend getaways together all the more special..

all the time in the world to chat, about all sorts of things, just us...
And now it's Monday again! Back to the hustle & bustle of life..but quite honestly, I love that too!
