I've been wanting to make Leonie's vest for so long now, I love it's simplicity & infact it's quite versatile too...
and since we're moving into warmer weather I thought I'd try it out using cotton, this one is 'Latte' from Bendigo Woolen Mills...
It's soft & drapey & I'm mostly happy with it, though I may have made the back a little wide...
I do think I'll try the winter version in a lovely warm charcoal wool too, how could I not! Thanks so much for sharing this pattern Leonie, I love it! More Creative Spaces here...
This is sooooo pretty Mel! Why are we not seeing you as the model however??!!

ReplyDeleteFA-BU-LOUS !!! i love love it !!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful, Mel. x
ReplyDeleteOh it's LOVELY!! Just gorgeous work Mel, i can imagine that being worn in those between season wardrobe hiccup moments, it's perfect!!
ReplyDeleteJust read your comment on Alice Becomes about your son & his imagination, he's keeping it to himself, that is so desperately heart breaking, i live to listen to my children's imaginative play, so while i notice my high schooler is of course, growing up, she still joins in with her siblings when they play dolls houses & the like, it's gorgeous. Do try to hold on. Maybe girls are different as my almost 10y.o. twins are still very much into playing, it's gorgeous, i want to bottle it. I know i'll be so disappointed when it all ceases. Lego games are a huge interest here too, as they make up houses & families, it's a bit cooler than dolls. Love Posie
It's lovely. I like it in the cotton. I've had a nice wool one on my crochet hook for a long while too....
