freezing cold weather this weekend made for some quiet crafting by the heater...
though we did manage to brave the cold & hit the playground
for a bit...
patience were wearing thin when it came to 'taking turns'..
but muffins helped ease the tension, a nice strong coffee for mum & dad and everyone's happy...
...until we got home to find my entire wardrobe had colapsed, which had me cursing dodgy craftmanship for a good long while.
However, seeing all the contents of a single clothing rail made me question, just how much does one girl need & how much weight can a single rail hold...time to cull! And time to call in the big guns & look up a handyman (by hubby's own request) hey, we can't be good at everything!
What's been going on at your place? Pop over here to join in...
Those photos of your kids are priceless! What crafty goodness did you get up to with those fun papers? I happen to be listening to Peter Rabbit at this very moment. To get a bit of computer time I have put on some talking books for the kids. The gumnut babies were my favorites as a little girl. I even had a Snugglepot and Cuddlpie themed party for my sixth birthday!
ReplyDeleteThoroughly frosted feet in this neck of the woods too. Bummer about that wardrobe. Excellent that the Mr put in the Big Guns request!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a nice mix for a generally relaxing weekend. I do love a good wardrobe clean out every now and then. It will look so nice and neat when you are done.
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining in again this week. Lou.
Love the playground outfits!!
ReplyDeleteThats annoying about your wardrobe but I love having a big cull, always feel so more organised afterwards. Hope the handman does a good job. =)
Have a nice week!
Oh those papers are yummy! And love a good cull!! Makes room for more purchases!!! Hope you have a wonderful week :)
ReplyDeletelove the little superheros :-)
ReplyDeleteStop right there a girl never has enough clothes maybe because I'm such a clothes lover...I found on the clearance rack yesterday at one of my favorite little stores a skirt and a top I paid $20 for both...I'm a girl who needed a treat. I'm going to be posting about something I need your help with soon because your an expert on this subject (Christmas), Take care.
ReplyDeleteP.s.your little men are so adorable..your little heros.
Fantastic playground outfits!
ReplyDeleteOhhhh I love gum nut babies! I just visited your madeit store. What gorgeous tags.
ReplyDeletevery cute superheros, but sometimes even they find it hard to take turns! Great photos. Hope you got your wardrobe fixed and sorted or here's hoping that you don't have to wait too long to have your clothes hanging up again.
ReplyDeleteMy four kids were a 'snap' with yours on Saturday. They all donned their suprehero outfits. We had 2 spidermen, a superman and 'heatblast' (from Ben 10) racing around the house and the local streets. Gotta love a dress-up!
ReplyDeleteSuperheros on the slide will make me smile everytime! Sorry about the collapsed wardrobe, but, you know, they can only take so much!!!
ReplyDeleteAt my place... LOML is studying (doing his masters of finance... did I tell you he's a wbanker?); the Tsunamis are actually all asleep (rare, precious moment); and I'm catching up on blogs (happy as a pig in mud, so to speak). On the wider front, Darren the Gardener is planting geraniums, daphne, roses and other fragrant delights on Wednesday next week. Happiness!
