at my house...

I'm loving simplicity & stealing quiet moments...
We've spent the weekend up at my parents place which is always a highlight for the boys, they just love it there, especially when all their uncles are around for shoulder rides, tickles, wrestling & running wild over the hills & wide open space...
I also managed a peaceful drive through the countryside all on my own while the boys played happily at nan & pop's.  I pottered about in some antique shops, gorgeous book shops & found a lovely spot to sit and enjoy a coffee with the prettiest view...
There's one week left of school holidays & we have a sleepover planned for the big boy, a day in town & hopefully some more hanging about home doing not much at all.
What's going on at your house?

  5. It is great to see all of those boys together. What a great male bonding time. Even better when it means you get some female leisure time as well. Sounds like a lovely quite time out and about.

Thanks for joining in again this week. Lou.

  6. Your family is the opposite to mine.
    I have 3 sisters and 3 daughters.
There is never any male bonding family time around us.
    Sounds like a great weekend.
I hope you have lots of fun over this holiday week too.

  8. How delightful!! We've just started school holidays in Canberra, off to Sydney in a couple of days where my 4 will see about 16 of their cousins. There are LOTS of boys, just love it!! From my side of the family, we're 2 boys, 2 girls with 7 grandsons & 7 granddaughters, i think my parents like symmetry!! My husband's family is more lopsided with boys, cousins rock!! Love Posie

  10. Oh wow, what a wonderful time it sounds like you had... I couldn't think of a much better day than browsing the antique shops, looking through books, and finding a spot like that to enjoy a lovely drink.

Bet you had some exhausted family members after the Grand Final! I was exhausted from watching it... and I don't even barrack for either of the teams! My team (dogs), went out last week... so I was just enjoying the spectacle. I couldn't watch the last 5 minutes, I was pacing up and down the hall whilst listening to it!!

1 week of hols to go!
