Hubby was slightly beside himself when we came across this little treasure at a garage sale today...
it had him at 'hello', & then to find out that it was only $10 & it actually still worked...elated he was!!
we also picked up these great bowls & a few tea spoons which we are in dire need of...our tea spoons are disappearing at a rapid rate, all very mysterious, never to be seen or heard of again...

So beyond jealous about that wonderful mixer. The bowls are great too! I know what you mean about teaspoons. I wonder if they run off with the socks?

ReplyDeleteThose old mixmasters are so beautiful, I have my grandmothers doesn't work anymore but sits pride of place in my kitchen. Great find and great price too.

ReplyDeleteI always find teaspoons under the couch or down the side of the couch. and my daughter likes to "cook" with them and they end up in the most random places!

ReplyDeleteOh WOW super bargain! Have seen them $80 here in Sydney ... drat I sold my bowls on ebay when my mixer karked it! You might find a set of bowls there! Hope the Superhero's get their power back soon ;)
ReplyDeleteDidn't your Mum ever tell you? Teaspoons are like the matching pair to a sock. If your smalls are like mine, it might be worth checking the sandpit for both variety of item.
